Whole Latte LoveWhole Latte Love by Rachelle Ayala
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

As always I am never disappointed with a Rachelle Ayala novel. And she brings life to a story that would otherwise be a normal boy meets girl, boy gets girl plot. I fell in love with the smart, young, sassy character that is Carina. She's spunky and intelligent, but still has a lot to learn about matters of the heart. Her love interest, Dylan, is gorgeous and smart as well. He has a overall thoughtful heart and wants good for all; literally. Although this book is just shy of 300 pages it reads really fast. Trust me you won't want to put it down. Finding love and keeping is a challenge we all face and the adventures that unfold in the banking business of love will keep you thoroughly interested in this novel. Oh and did I forget to tell you there is Drama with a capital "D" in the form of an ex and supervisor. Read this novel, you won't be disappointed.

Blood and Magic ~ Ann Gimpel

Blood and MagicBlood and Magic by Ann Gimpel
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Blood and Magic by Ann Gimpel was quite a compelling story that brings mage and witch togther in a very interesting adventure. I must admit the story did start off kind of slow. At first I did not appreciate the slowness, but after reading the entire novel it makes sense. The plot needed to develop and a foundation for the the main characters, Luke and Abigail, needed to be in place so that it fully makes sense. Gimpel writing picks up in my opinion around chapter 2, the meeting of Luke and Abigail. From there Gimpels gifts the reading audience with many adventures that deal with possessions, fighting evil (of course) and a mixture of romance. The story flows well and I was really caught up more on what the Enforcers would be forced to do and if love would conquer it all. Blood and Magic is a pretty decent read at about 195 pages, if you love folklore and paranormal, this book is for you.

The cover of this book displays what is to be Luke and Abigail in a small embrace, clearly in love and want of each other. It does have an old world feel to it with the amber colors. It quite suits the time period of this novel.

Zack's Choice ~ Harry E. Gilleland Jr

Zack's ChoiceZack's Choice by Harry E. Gilleland Jr.
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Zack's Choice by Harry E. Gilleland, Jr was an amazing action, drama, growing up read. I truly enjoyed this novel and could not put the book down. Young Zack just wants to live his life and have a little cross country adventure before buckling down and going to law school at Yale. He never expected to meet and get mixed up with the likes of Robbie. Gilleland gives you the adventures of Zack and Robbie, what starts out as as weird mission turns into way more than Zack can hope or dream about. Gilleland creates a vision of youthful bad decisions on for Zack that puts this story in motion. We follow Zack's journey from being a good young adult to a troublesome soul with a good heart. This novel reads like a movie, each scene carefully displayed out with great transitions. Gilleland has a way of giving you just a hint of what may happen next to keep you the reader interested in the overall scheme of things. Excellent read; proof that a good novel does not have to be a million pages long.

Country Love ~ Chelsea Dorsette

Country LoveCountry Love by Chelsea Dorsette
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Country Love by Chelsea Dorsette is quite the erotic drama romance. It of course had its steamy moments but thankfully Dorsette had some meat in the plot. Country Love is based out a city after my own heart, Nashville. The Nashville night life scene and country music is well represented in this novel. Main character, Paden, is a strong young woman career driven who meets and is completely floored by the handsome singer CJ. There relationship goes from 0-60 flat, but with this booming relationship comes dangerous plots from people who wish to see the relationship doom. Dorsette sets the reader on a fast paced drama that with each turn of the page will have you wanting for more. Dorsette proves that a novel can still be entertaining with drama and romance and not be encyclopedia long. I cannot wait to read another novel by Chelsea Dorsette; amazingly talented.

Broken Sky ~ Sauray Dutt

Broken SkyBroken Sky by Saurav Dutt
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Broken Sky by Saurav Dutt was an amazing story of a beautiful woman with amnesia and a wild past trying to catch up with her. Dutt gives the reader drama, excitement and mystery all wrapped up in one novel. This novel reads just like a drama suspense movie. Once you start page 1 you will not want to put it down. Dutt characters are so well described and thought out that one feels as if they may know the character personally. As a reader I absolutely fell in love with Gina’s character, by her actions you could tell she was a very strong woman with a troubled past and a little bit eccentric. John made me truly believe he cared and although he had trouble in his past he was a genuinely good person. Dutt made Broken Sky believable because no one in this novel is perfect; hence the awesome naming of this novel. I thoroughly enjoyed this novel and recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good read that displays a good plot with lots of drama and a hint of suspense and mystery.

digi ~ Gary Sheerin

digi by Gary Sheerin
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Gary Lawrence Sheerin delivered quite a story in the technical novel “digi.” Young Peter shows quite the strength, courage and let’s not forget tenacity in becoming a threat to be wreckoned with in this novel. Digi does have a sort of same old story line as other teenage growing pain novels. But Sheerin throws quite the twist into this technically enhanced plot. What would you use your powers for if you had the ability to thrive in both the human world and computer world? Peter better known as Digi has that grand opportunity. Digi takes you on a fast paced ride that makes everyday computer parts human like. We discover bits, checkers, and viruses have feelings and jobs to do. Sheerin really has a knack in telling the computers point of view but not making it too technical for the reader to pick up on. I thoroughly enjoyed this novel.

The cover of 1’s and 0’s accurately depicted what one would think when referring to coding. The cover takes it back to the basic computer colors of the first coding programs; green and black. This was a pretty cool and appropriate design for this novel.
