Future Prometheus ~ J.M. Erickson

Future Prometheus: Emergence & EvolutionFuture Prometheus: Emergence & Evolution by J M Erickson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This science fiction novel was simply refreshing to read. Future Prometheus by J.M. Erickson puts a real spin on what happens when sickness takes over humanity and androids are brought into the picture. Women rule the world in this time period and males have gone sick due to a sex induced disease that makes them go "Savage." Erickson really paints a picture of a world that is struggling and even with humanity on the edge of existence, political power struggles still occur.

The man character and surprisingly one of the only adult men in this novel, Lieutenant Jose Melendez, exemplifies all that is moral and right with humanity. Although, he is unable to pick up on social cues he still experiences feelings and emotions to some extent. Erickson really provides an amazing story that takes us on an adventure to save boy children and AP's alike. Erickson shows that even if the world has gone to hell and back there is always a bright side. And it doesn't hurt that AP's (robots) kick butt, take names and show compassion to the human race.

Really good read can't wait for the continuation of the storyline.

The cover artwork on this novel really depicts what I imagined the android women would look like. Women with hardcore features; solid physique. It looks like a well defined pencil drawing sketch.
